On Monday, November 20, 2017, the cultural space La Traverse and theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) are organizing an Apéro Art/Sciences - "Men, women, we are not what we seem".
ABOUT THE EVENT
Experience an evening of discovery and practice around the choreography Catch Me by Compagnie de danse Gambit, experimenting with the possible crossovers between art and the humanities, before sharing an earthly treat. In Catch Me, four dancers, four "luchadors" go from attack to dodge, from dazzling traverses to acrobatic lifts... and then the masks come off! A convivial and original encounter on a highly topical theme, an evening to stimulate the taste buds, ears and eyes.
Three USMB researchers are taking part in this round table:
- Christophe Hourde of the Laboratoire Inter-universitaire de Biologie de la Motricité (LIBM),
- Carole Brandon of the Langages, Littératures, Sociétés, Études Transfrontalières et Internationales (LLSETI) laboratory,
- Sandrine Jamain Samson of the STAPS (Sciences et techniques des activités physiques et sportives) department at theUFR Sciences et Montagne.
Fabienne Gillonnier, Vice President in charge of Equality and Culture at the USMB, will be moderating the event.
