On Thursday, April 26, 2018, the association Science Actions is offering a ciné-science session with the film "Le Cerveau des Enfants. The film will be shown at the cinéma l'Astrée, in Chambéry, and starts at 8:30pm.

"Children's Brains" is a deep dive into neuroscience, explaining how our childhood experiences shape our brains. The film gives the essential keys to developing it properly. How to help children better manage their temper tantrums, bounce back from setbacks, learn effectively and more. From emotion to learning, the film presents everything you, as a parent or educator, need to know to help children realize their full potential, and to help them flourish.
The documentary screening will be followed by a discussion with :
- Alexa Garros, pediatrician at Grenoble University Hospital;
- Arnaud Carré, lecturer in psychology and researcher at the Laboratoire Inter-universitaire de Psychologie - Personnalité, Cognition, Changement Social (LIP-PC2S) atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc.

Cinés Science are offered as part of the Cafés Scientifiques (or "Cafés Sciences et Citoyen, Débat") program. They offer the general public the chance to debate with experts, researchers and professionals over a screening, on a wide range of subjects, many of them topical.
