Despite the economic importance of the sector, no comprehensive study of ski lift law has yet been carried out. The aim of the symposium is to deliver a broad-spectrum study, useful to both the mountain industry and the scientific community. The aim of this event is to clarify the legal framework for the management of ski lifts in mountain areas, by highlighting existing uncertainties, identifying problems and proposing operational solutions.
This event brings together the academic world, particularly that of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Chambéry, Grenoble, Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand), and the region's practitioners (specialized lawyers, magistrates, local councillors, local authority and government officials, ski lift company representatives, etc.).
