This year,Université Savoie Mont Blanc and the université Savoie Mont Blanc Faculty of Law are hosting the tenth series of Conférences de Vie Politique Comparée (Comparative Political Life Lectures), featuring researchers in the social sciences and humanities whose work sheds light on major contemporary socio-political issues.
These lectures are organized on Zoom and are open to the general public without registration.
For the second lecture in this series, Haoues Seniguer, Senior Lecturer in Political Science at theInstitut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon, will host a lecture on "Globalized Islamism" on Thursday March 4, from 3.45pm to 5.30pm.

about the speaker
Haoues Seniguer, lecturer in Political Science at theInstitut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon and head of the "Cooperation and Economic Development in the Maghreb and Middle East" specialization, devoted his thesis, defended in 2012, to the careers of young Islamist activists within the Justice and Development Party in Morocco, from the 1970s to the present day.
A specialist in the political sociology of Muslim communities and the Muslim world, with a particular focus on radicalization, he is the author of numerous articles and speeches.
He is the author of numerous articles and speeches, the presentation and links to which can be found on his personal page on the Laboratoire Triangle website. Already present at our conferences in 2017, he is kind enough to return this year to talk about his two recent books and the theme of "globalized Islamism".
