The conference entitled " Prison overcrowding " will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 6:15pm to 7:45pm, on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus, inamphitheater 19,000.
Organized by three students in the Master 1 Droit Privé (MDJ) and Droit du Dommage Corporel (DDC) programs, under the supervision of Mr. Clément Bénélbaz, the workshops are free and open to all, with no registration required.

- What resources are made available to the justice system/prison administration to combatprison overcrowding?
- What impact does overcrowding have on prison management?
- Do magistrates take prison overcrowding into account when deciding on detention?
- How does a prisoner feel about his or her period of detention?
