The Espace Mont-Blanc is working with the Pôle Montagne Inventive atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc on a territorial diagnosis. This work, carried out as part of a Franco-Italian European FEAST project, is aimed in particular at helping the Espace Mont-Blanc to obtain UNESCO World Heritage status for Mont-Blanc.
The first phase of the project consisted in understanding how users represent and experience their territory. To achieve this,Université Savoie Mont Blanc students from a variety of backgrounds, accompanied by teachers and researchers, carried out research and a field study. Around a hundred interviews were held with the local population, economic players, local authority representatives and others.
