Students, vote to elect your CROUS representatives!

November 27, 2018 09:00 - November 27, 2018 18:30

More than 2, 7 million students are called to elect their Crous representatives for this year 2018. TheUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) is setting up polling stations on its 3 campuses on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 to elect Crous Grenoble-Alpes representatives. As a reminder, the Crous facilitate the daily lives of millions of students, in many aspects: financial aid, housing, catering, employment, cultural life, social support, etc....

Voting means defending your rights

It is important for students to be represented on the Crous Board of Directors, so that they can assert their rights in terms of social assistance, housing, catering, culture, support for student initiatives and campus life. The Crous Board of Directors is a decision-making body: the 7 elected students represent around a third of the Board's members, can influence Crous policy and decisions, and take action to improve students' living and working conditions. The vote only takes a few minutes, but the stakes are counted in years, since this important ballot counts for your living and studying conditions.

How to vote?

Simply go to one of the polling stations on your campus, within the times indicated, with your 2018/2019 student card .

Can't make it? Vote by proxy! The number of proxies received per student is limited to two. Proxies are issued on a numbered form by your Crous. The proxy form must be picked up by the student (principal) who wishes to appoint a proxy. He/she should request this document from his/her educational establishment. The form completed by the principal and the latter's student card are then given to the student who will vote on his behalf (proxy).
