This professional conference is proposed by the Délégation départementale aux droits des femmes et à l'égalité - Préfecture de la Savoie, organized by theAssociation Départementale pour le Développement et la Coordination des Actions auprès des Étrangers de la Savoie (ADDCAES).

About the conference

In recent years, the phenomenon of radicalization has emerged and is now affecting people in our region. Women in intercultural situations may also be affected, either as individuals or as daughters, spouses or family members. First, we need to better perceive and identify the forms of radicalization (what are the signs, what are the elements used to categorize the risk of radicalization, etc.) and understand the process. We will then explore how to take radicalization into account when providing support in an intercultural context, and how working with people, even upstream, can help situations to evolve favorably. The aim of this professional conference is to shed light on the issues and provide keys to understanding for professionals working with women in intercultural situations.
