World AIDS Day at USMB

On the occasion of World Aids Day, the Preventive Medicine Service of theUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) invite you to meet on Thursday, November 29, 2018 on the three USMB campuses.

On the Jacob-Bellecombette campus

For the 30th anniversary of this world day, UNAIDS has chosen the theme "know your status" for 2018, in a context where 1 in 4 people living with HIV are unaware of their serostatus. Knowing one's status is the keystone of international strategies aimed at eradicating the epidemic by 2030.

A selfie box will be available to USMB students from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Building 20 in the multi-service area next to the GUIDE: a photo to mark their commitment to the fight against illness. #know your status!
Male and female condoms available on site, as well as information on free screening centers to find out your serological status.

On the Bourget-du-Lac campus

In conjunction with the LGBT Savoie+ association, awareness-raising and information on the UNAIDS 2030 targets and the various means available to achieve them will be presented from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in building 6 (Espace Vie Étudiante). On the program: information panels, flyers, a playful animation on the blind and timed fitting of a condom proposed by the LGBT+ Association and a quiz to complete on discrimination, male and female condoms.

On the Annecy campus

The Université Savoie Mont Blanc Preventive Medicine Service will be setting up a stand in the University Restaurant from 11.30am to 1.30pm. On the program: a "Bulle d'amour" exhibition (installed from 27.11), prevention messages, documents, flyers, distribution of male and female condoms.

Around the event

USMB partner Centre Hospitalier Annecy Genevois invites you to take part in the Sid'Annecy Course event on December 1, 2018. Solo or in pairs, come and show your support for the fight against the AIDS virus. [Registration]

Free STI screening will be offered, to students, by the Annecy Hospital CeGIDD on Tuesday December 4 and 11, 2018. Registration on the same day with the GUIDE then appointment at the preventive medicine premises on the Annecy campus with your health record.
