What is Task 63?

Task 63 covers solar energy issues related to new neighborhood developments and the renovation and redevelopment of existing neighborhoods.

The main objective of Task 63 is to help developers, owners/associations, architects, urban planners, municipalities, institutions and other key players create solar neighborhoods conducive to long-term solar access for energy production and daylighting of buildings and outdoor environments. - creating sustainable and healthy environments.

Task 63 will require dialogue and cooperation with the key players in neighborhood planning in each participating country. This cooperation enables obstacles to be identified and strategies, methods and tools to be tested, providing feedback on development needs. Local collaboration within municipalities is an important element that complements international cooperation within the Task, and links Task experts to practice and implementation in each country.
