Micro-adventures in outdoor tourism

Do you know what a "micro-adventure" is? Micro-adventures are short (one to two hours), simple, local, inexpensive adventures that fit into everyday life, yet are as fun, exciting, stimulating, refreshing and enriching as real adventures. How can they meet customer expectations? Is this another way of looking at outdoor activities in our region? For local or more distant tourism? Inventing new ways to enjoy a region for the less sporty?
Tourism professionals attending the academics Executive-MBA Tourism Innovation have been looking into the subject. They will present the results of their survey in a stimulating, participative workshop.
