The IUTs' academics offer is evolving: the Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie (BUT) is becoming the new benchmark diploma.
Starting in September 2021, this 3-year curriculum will be structured around university courses, practical work experience and extensive periods of work experience in companies (with a range of internships and work-study contracts available), to provide a diploma that is well-suited to the professions of today and tomorrow. By placing the skills-based approach at the heart of the program, BUT will enable us to better align our teaching with the expectations and needs of the professional world.
Based on innovative teaching methods and training content developed in close collaboration with socio-economic players, the BUT program offers a large number of hours enabling young people to gain first-hand experience of the business world.
Economic players will therefore be in close contact with more autonomous students, with greater capacity to evolve over the course of their professional careers, and with broader skills adapted to the realities of the field.
