On Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10am, Denis Varaschin, President ofUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc, will award an honorary doctorate to Marcel Jean, General Director of the Cinémathèque québécoise and Artistic Delegate of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, in the Grand Salon of Annecy City Hall, in the presence of Thomas Meszaros, Vice-President of Territorial Prospective, Europe and Contractual Policies for the City of Annecy and representative of Jean-Luc Rigaut, Mayor of the new commune of Annecy, and Dominique Puthod, Mayor of the delegated commune of Annecy and President of CITIA.
The ceremony will take place at 10am, in the Grand Salon of Annecy Town Hall, esplanade de l'hôtel-de-Ville, 74011 Annecy.
