The Langages, Littératures, Sociétés, Études Transfrontalières et Internationales (LLSETI) laboratory is organizing the "Paysages" seminar on Thursday March 15, on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus, building 10.
It is part of the LLSETI's Axis 1 "Inheritances, environments, mediations", with the "Environmental Humanities" team, which fosters disciplinary confrontation around definitions, representations and methodologies applied to the notion of landscape.
The March 15 meeting brought together :
- a historian of the Middle Ages specializing in rural and mountain areas (latest publication: Le Sourire de Prométhée. L'homme et la nature au Moyen Âge, La découverte, 2017), Fabrice Mouthon;
- a geologist specializing in lake ecosystems, Charline Giguet-Covex, a researcher in the Environmental Archives team at the Mountain Environments, Dynamics and Territories Laboratory (EDYTEM).
