Higgs evening at LAPP

July 5, 2022 6:00 PM

In 2022, CERN celebrates 10 years since the discovery of the Higgs boson by the ATLAS and CMS experiments. The work of the ATLAS group at the Laboratoire d'Annecy de Physique des Particules (LAPP ) was instrumental in this discovery. LAPP scientists working on the ATLAS experiment, who contributed to this discovery, are organizing a public event to help the public understand this major discovery.

The conference will take place on July 5 from 6 to 7 pm at LAPP. The event will celebrate the discovery, give an overview of what has since been learned and look ahead to what's yet to come.

Interested parties can also visit the Espace Découvertes EUTOPIA for privileged discussions with the scientists before or after the conference.

Places are limited, so registration is compulsory.
