Summary of the thesis

Neologism and academics terms in terminology: application to the Chinese language
The international standard ISO 704 on principles and methods of terminology work specifies that a term is "a representation of a concept by linguistic or non-linguistic means" and "acts as a synthesis of the definition".
The academics of terms, and more precisely the creation of new terms, can be such as to express what the term designates. Our work will focus on Chinese terminology and the relationship between the academics of terms and the definition of concepts, since Chinese has the particularity of being particularly well adapted, through the association of these characters, to technical fields.
This work will be carried out within the framework of ISO standards and ontological modeling of the conceptual system.
