This year,université Savoie Mont Blanc and the université Savoie Mont Blanc Faculty of Law are hosting the tenth series of Comparative Political Life Lectures, featuring researchers in the social sciences and humanities whose work sheds light on major contemporary socio-political issues.
These lectures are organized using the Zoom online tool and are open to the general public without registration.
For the first lecture in this series, Pierre Crétois, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy atBordeaux Montaigne University, will give a talk on Thursday February 25 from 3.45pm to 5.30pm on "The origins of intellectual definition and the socio-legal legitimization of the modern concept of 'property'".

Pierre Crétois has been working for several years on the origins of the intellectual definition and socio-legal legitimization of the modern concept of "property". He has published and edited several remarkable works and dossiers on this issue, and has just had published in September 2020 a historical and critical perspective on "proprietary ideology": La part commune.
