Students

YOU ARE A STUDENT AND YOU WANT TO GO ABROAD?

In general, we advise students at the University of Savoie Mont Blanc who want to go abroad to prepare their project about a year in advance.

Every year, in November, the International Relations Department organizes information meetings on each of the campuses on the various mobility programs and financial assistance.

  1. I DEFINE MY MOBILITY: Studies or internship? In which country? When? When? How? How?
  2. I AM APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
  3. I TRAIN MY APPLICANT and I do not forget to return the necessary documents (pedagogical and for financial assistance) to my university

FOR YOUR STUDIES

A study mobility stay allows you to spend a semester or a full year of study at a partner university abroad.

How does it work? You enrol at the Savoie Mont Blanc University, you take your exams at the partner university abroad. If you have passed your exams, the Université Savoie Mont Blanc recognizes and validates the ECTS credits (grades/examinations) you have obtained abroad.

Your international experience is recognized for your diploma prepared in France: you do not lose a year of study!

FOR A TRAINING COURSE

You are a student and you want to have an experience abroad. Additional specific funding at real cost is granted to people with disabilities who leave under the Erasmus + programme. It covers additional costs related to mobility abroad. The International Relations Department can help you set up your mobility project.

We also invite you to consult provisions for supporting students with disabilities set up by the Missions handicap of our university.

  • Don't always stay between French people
  • Mix with the students of the country in which you will be: register for sports or cultural activities, participate in associations, live in shared accommodation with foreign students... any means are good to get to know the premises and learn as much as possible from them!
  • Take the opportunity to interact with all the other international students and discover their culture!
