MOBILITY FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021

Within the framework of "higher education mobility", the Erasmus+ programme offers the possibility for teaching and administrative staff of the USMB to move to one of the participating countries:

28 EU Member States: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom.

+ Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Norway, Turkey, Serbia.

  1. Teaching mobility (STA): 3 calls for applications

This type of mobility is aimed at :
- USMB teachers who go to a partner university to carry out a teaching mission of 8 hours minimum (generally 4 days on site);
- to company personnel invited for a teaching mission at the USMB (usually 8 hours of teaching).

  1. Staff mobility (TWUacademics ): 3 calls for applications

This type of mobility is aimed at all USMB staff (teachers and administrative staff) who wish to discover how a partner university works abroad or to participate in a "mobility" programme. staff week "for example, for the purpose of training.

  1. Combined mobility STA-STT: 3 calls for applications

Possibility of associating over the same period a teaching activity and an activity academics for which there must be a minimum of 4 hours of teaching as well as a academics forecast programme (cf. teaching contract).

STA and STT mobility can last from 2 days to 2 months depending on the specific project of the person concerned. Over the last 2 years, the duration of funding is 4 days on site. This results in travel and stay packages (see below for the criteria for awarding grants). Please note: partner visits and conferences are not eligible for the teaching and research mobility schemeacademics.

  1. Prospecting and Organisational Mobility (OS): 1 call for applications in the middle of the academic year.

This type of mobility is mainly aimed at USMB teachers who visit a European university in order to develop or strengthen partnerships, particularly with English-speaking countries or offering courses in English (which are of particular interest to our students). These mobilities must necessarily be part of a coherent overall strategic framework of the attachment component.

Applications for the 1st call for applications 2020/21 will be examined at the International Relations Commission (CORI) in early September 2020. All applications must also be validated by the attachment component before transmission to the DRI.

Applications for the 2nd call for applications 2020/21 will be examined at the CORI in early December 2020. They must also be validated by the attachment component before transmission to the DRI.

Applications for the 3rd call for applications 2020/21 will be examined at the CORI in early March 2021. They must also be validated by the attachment component before transmission to the DRI.

In view of the strategic orientations defined in CORI, it was decided to encourage as much travel as possible to :

  • cross-border regions and the Alpine arc (Northern Italy, Southern Germany, Austria and Slovenia - Note: Switzerland not eligible under the Erasmus+ programme),
  • destinations that generate student mobility, particularly English-speaking and Scandinavian countries.

Criteria for the award of teaching mobility grants (STA), academics (STT), and combined STA+STT.

The funding attached to these mobilities is European flat-rate. The grant includes a holiday package + a travel package.

  • The STAY PACKAGE is calculated according to the duration of the activity (days on site) and the country of destination:

Applicable rates per country defined by the EC in consultation with the Erasmus+ France Agency :

Attention: the rates indicated are those of 2019/20. These rates will be modified just before the summer closing of the establishment according to the evolution of the budgets available for the 2020/21 convention.
