You can take this second workshop whether or not you took part in the first. Each workshop offers different approaches, games and advice that complement each other.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP 

After an initial contact, Lionel Salün will set up a dialogue to discuss your interest in literature and your tastes in reading and writing. It's not up to him to impose a directive, but through this workshop, he invites you to draw on the often unexplored resources of your thoughts, which you will then be able, perhaps for the first time, to organize and structure in a text.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

Lionel Salaün had a succession of odd jobs - warehouseman, aquarium maker, sardine fisherman in Sète, and photographer - before devoting most of his time to writing.

An avid geographer and lover of the blues and American cinema, he is the author of a highly acclaimed first novel, Le Retour de Jim Lamar (Liana Levi), which has won twelve literary awards since its publication in 2010.

Influenced by the German classics, Steinbeck and Faulkner, the theme of each of his books is the return after a long absence.
His five books published since 2010, first by Liana Levi and then by Actes Sud, reflect the same intellectual freedom that has always guided his writing.
Writing, despite the vicissitudes that have marked her life, has never been a deliberate choice, but an irrepressible need, the unique and vital means of channeling the flow of often tormented thoughts and feelings that no other means of expression would have enabled her to release.
