About the artist Cobie
"Cobie's artistic approach is characterized by ironic political engagement and playful interventions in public space. Through his collages, he expresses a quirky sense of humor and a desire to provoke reflection in viewers" (Source:
Cobie).
His humorous work, based on the absurd, invites us to take a step back from our society and its trajectories.
About the exhibition
Using black humor and the absurd to challenge the general public about climate change, and to invite everyone to take a step to the side - this is the ambition that artist Cobie set herself during the artistic residency that gave rise to this exhibition.
This exhibition was conceived as part of a residency funded by INRAE, OSUG, the UGA's culture and scientific culture department and Labex ITTEM.
