ABOUT THE SHOW

"Immerse yourself in the fury of the streets of Conakry. Discover the everyday life of a handful of men and women who, between dust and cinder blocks, music and song, shouts and dances, tell us through all the attributes of the circus - acrobatics, Chinese mast, Russian bar, whip... - their hope for a better life. A world where women would be freed from the obligations and mutilations imposed on them by a customary society in upheaval. A show full of ferocious energy, dance and challenges, a nod to gender equality. Acrobatics, contortions, hand-to-hand, pyramids and balancing act accompany mask dances and sacred drums. A highly symbolic, fiercely powerful circus.
