35th Mental Health Information Weeks - "Escale du Psytruck" (Psytruck stopover)

From October 7 to 20, 2024 the 35th edition of the Semaines d'Information sur la Santé Mentale (SISM) will take place, with the annual theme: " On the move for our mental health ". In this context, the mental health network (RéPsy) and the Communauté Professionnelle Territoriale de Santé Chambéry agglo are organizing an event entitled "Psytruck: Escale du camion où on parle de santé mentale". The event will be hosted by students from USMB's Master Psychologie Prévention program, and will take place on October 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Place de l'Hôtel de ville, Chambéry.

About animation

The Psytruck is a truck that takes a no-holds-barred, friendly approach to mental health: information, exchanges, fun activities, a smoothie bike and an adapted sports course for mental health in motion!
The event is organized by RéPsy and the Communauté Professionnelle Territoriale de Santé Chambéry agglo, in collaboration with the City of Chambéry, Accueil Savoie Handicap, CHS de la Savoie, Promotion Santé Savoie, and students from the USMB Master's in Psychology and Prevention.

About SISM

Since 1990, the SISM has been the ideal opportunity to promote mental health for the whole population, throughout mainland France and the French overseas territories. The SISM events take place over two weeks in October, around World Mental Health Day on October 10. They also aim to de-stigmatize mental disorders and rally support for mental health.
