BOOST Workshop - "Working on non-verbal communication".

Did you know that more than half the messages we convey to an interlocutor come from our actions and facial expressions? Shifty eyes, crossed arms, a hesitant smile, an impatient leg under the table, etc. - all these signs are true indicators of our state of mind. This is what we call non-verbal communication, which is often scrutinized during a job interview, even from a distance.

Thanks to theBOOST workshop "workshop: "Working on non-verbal communication: little gestures to avoid at SUIO-IP Success Center (Service Universitaire d'Information d'Orientation et d'Insertion Professionnelle), learn how to recognize and control inappropriate attitudes and gestures.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED  

The workshop is free and open to all students, from 1st year university students to PhD students. It is financed by the Contribution à la Vie Étudiante et de Campus (CVEC).

It will take place Tuesday November 21 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the Zoom and will be led by Athéna Coaching, a qualified coach and trainer. Login details for the workshop will be sent to your student mailbox after registration.

Each workshop is limited to 14 people to guarantee a quality exchange with the speaker. Registration closes 24 hours before the workshopso don't delay in registering!

YEAR-ROUND WORKSHOPS 

Other workshops are offered throughout the year (improving concentration, perfecting organization for revision, gaining fluency in oral expression, boosting self-confidence, improving note-taking, etc.). Don't hesitate to consult the student agenda to find the one that's right for you!
