Overthe weekend of October 18-20, we'll be taking you hiking in the the Beaufortain.
HOW THE WEEKEND UNFOLDED
A backpacking trip requiring good physical condition, you'll cover around 30km in two days, with passages at altitudes of over 2,500m.
The Beaufortain and the Pierra Menta, Savoie's confidential mountain range, will be the playground for an approach to mountain roaming, preparing your own itinerary, orienteering, and confronting altitude...
Presentation by Gwen MASSON SCHAEFFER: A teacher in the Sports Department, Gwen is accustomed to leading itinerants in remote areas, and will help us prepare our itineraries as a group, combining progression, orientation and first-aid techniques in mountain environments.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Level : hiking requiring good physical condition - 30/35 km over 2 days and a half.
- Price: 55€ / student - 65€ / staff (including transport, supervision, accommodation, small equipment). Please bring your own food.
- Departure : 17h30 fromentrance A on the Jacob-Bellecombette campus, 5pm from the BU parking lot on the Annecy campus, return on Sunday evening.
- Bring: A good pair of walking shoes, rucksack, water, picnic, sun cream, cap and sunglasses, survival blanket, tea light, sleeping bag and sleeping mat.
