Following on from his book "Le Pouvoir de la rhétorique" (which sold over 100,000 copies), Clément Viktorovitch, PhD in political science and popularizer on France Info and Quotidien, takes to the stage for the first time with a gritty fiction.
He plays an arrogant communications advisor who, after being ousted by the President of the Republic, decides to reveal the inner workings of a candidate. In this, his first one-man show with artist Ferdinand Barbet, he seeks to demystify political discourse and question the subversion of language, the kind that empties words of their content, leaving no room for criticism. But how can we continue to build together if citizens can no longer believe in the word? Do we need to reinvent politics as a whole?
