[Versione italiana qui]

THE CULTURA'TRACTIVE LIVING LAB: WHAT FOR?

Two Franco-Italian INTERREG Alcotra programs, FEAST (Savoie Mont Blanc and Valle d'Aosta universities) and CORPO LINKS CLUSTER (Malraux Scène Nationale USMB, Dislivelli, Torinodanza), share the same objective: to develop the attractiveness and economic dynamism of mountain regions.

A two-day Living Lab event designed to bring together local players, residents, academics and students to co-create innovative ideas on the use of culture as a lever for developing local appeal.

The thread running through the exchanges:

Mountain areas in France and Italy:

  • Enhance the attractiveness of regions by diversifying the tourism offer through culture
  • Promoting the economic, cultural and social development of mountain regions

LATE AFTERNOON / EARLY EVENING

"My virgin forests haunt me. I enter them on skis. A mountain acrobat, I've lost my horse. But there I find my balance beam, my stepladder, my beam. Is it the open spaces and fresh air, or simply the passage of time? Away from home, we're in the big house: everything has grown. The pendulum is a man's, the beam a ship's, the stepladder high. It suddenly puts a lot of air in my equilibrium. My solitude is vertigo. I climb, I climb. I take off. I breathe. If I'm scared, I talk and that anchors me, attaches me to people. Then I tell where I come from. The far West."
