Innovation in tourism: USMB tourism students working with the Pôle Tourisme innovate for the Parc des Bauges

The Pôle Tourisme Montagne Inventive atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc and the EDYTEM laboratory will be running a two-year project supported by LEADER funding for the Parc Naturel Régional du Massif des Bauges. The aim is to develop new recreational and tourist offers based on the preservation of natural heritage.

Like all regional projects managed by the USMB Tourism Unit, it will mobilize USMB teachers, researchers and students around the Park's stakeholders, local authorities and users, in a multi-disciplinary approach combining academia, local knowledge and tourism service design.

As part of this project, students in the Tourism Masters program at theIAE Savoie Mont Blanc's International Center for Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management, under the guidance of teachers and researchers, worked on innovative offers for the Parc des Bauges, drawing on the Park's strengths and making the most of its exceptional natural heritage.

A public restitution of this work will take place on :

Monday December 9th at 5:30pm in the Pôle Montagne amphitheater (building 3) on the Bourget-du-Lac university campus
