It all started with a meeting between local people from the Valbonnais area and the Pôle "Montagne Inventive" (PTMI) atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc. How can we improve the life and appeal of these valleys? How can we better pool and build on these assets? How can they be better organized? How can we improve services to enhance quality of life?
As part of a participatory approach involving all users: residents, businesses/craftsmen, institutions (elected representatives, ONF, etc.), socio-professionals (accommodation providers, restaurateurs), tourists, secondary residents, a study has been carried out by the Pôle Montagne Inventive to gain a better understanding of the uses and representations of the area in order to improve the quality of life of its users and its attractiveness.
222 interviews have been conducted since July. The results of this important work, carried out byIAE Savoie Mont Blanc students, teachers, researchers and consultants with expertise in mountain areas and attractiveness issues, will be publicly presented in the presence of the project teams, representatives of the areas concerned and users on :
