 Registration for the March, May and June 2024 sessions is now open.

Please note that a candidate may not register several times at the same time for an exam of the same level (with or without different variations). They must wait for the results of their 1st registration before considering retaking the same exam, even if they are absent on the day of the exam.

Public? All foreigners and French nationals from non-French-speaking countries who do not hold a French public secondary or higher education diploma and who wish to certify their level of French.
What is DELF/DALF?  

DELF and DALF are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify proficiency in French.
The tests?

The 6 diplomas that make up DELF and DALF are totally independent. So, depending on their level, candidates can register directly for the exam of their choice.

At each level, 4 skills are assessed: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
To succeed? To pass, you need to obtain a minimum of 50/100 and not have scored less than 05/25 in any of the tests.
How long will I have to wait for the results?

Results are sent by post after a month and a half, together with a certificate if you have passed.

Diplomas are issued in Paris, and take around 6 months to arrive.
Validity of results? As Delf and Dalf are diplomas, they are valid for life.
What if I fail this test? You can retake the test as many times as you like, as soon as you get your first results.

1. October 2023 - registrations until Friday, September 15, 2023

  • DELF A1 : individual oral expression test on Monday, October 09, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 (morning).
  • DELF A2 : individual oral test on Monday October 09, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday October 11, 2023 (afternoon).
  • DELF B1 : individual oral test on Friday October 06, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday October 12, 2023 (morning).
  • DELF B2 : individual oral test on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday, October 12, 2023 (afternoon).
  • DALF C1 : individual oral test on Tuesday, October 03, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Friday, October 13, 2023 (morning).
  • DALF C2 : individual oral comprehension and expression test on Thursday October 05, 2023 (afternoon), group tests (written comprehension and expression) on Friday October 13, 2023 (afternoon).

 

2. December 2023 - registrations until Friday, November 10, 2023

  • DELF A2 : individual oral test on Monday November 27, 2023, group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday December 06, 2023 (afternoon).
  • DELF B1 : individual oral test on Friday December 01, 2023, group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday December 07, 2023 (morning).
  • DELF B2 : individual oral test on Thursday November 30, 2023, group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday December 07, 2023 (afternoon).

  • DELF B1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) Thursday, February 08, 2024 (morning), individual oral expression test Friday, February 09, 2024 (afternoon).
  • DELF B2 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday February 08, 2024 (afternoon), individual oral expression test on Thursday February 15, 2024 (afternoon).
  • DALF C1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Friday, February 09, 2024 (morning), individual oral expression test on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 (afternoon).

 

2. March 2024- registrations until Monday, February 12, 2024

  • DELF A2 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday March 13, 2024 (afternoon). individual oral expression test on Monday March 18, 2024 (afternoon).
  • DELF B1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday, March 14, 2024 (morning), individual oral expression test on Thursday, March 14, 2024 (afternoon)
  • DALF C2 : written comprehension and expression test on Friday March 15, 2024 (afternoon), oral comprehension and expression test on Tuesday March 19, 2024 (afternoon).

 

Summer sessions 2023/2024 (May to June 2024) :

3. Mai 2024 – inscriptions jusqu’au Lundi 22 avril 2024 16h30

  • DELF A2 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday May 22, 2024 (afternoon), individual oral expression test on Thursday May 23, 2024.
  • DELF B1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) and individual oral expression test on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
  • DELF B2 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Thursday May 23, 2024 (afternoon), individual oral expression test on Friday May 24, 2024.
  • DALF C1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) and individual oral expression test on Friday May 24, 2024.

 

4. June 2024- registrations until Monday, May 06, 2024

  • DELF A2 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) on Wednesday June 05, 2024 (afternoon). individual oral expression test on Friday June 07, 2024 (afternoon).
  • DELF B1 : group tests (oral comprehension, written comprehension and expression) and individual oral expression test on Thursday June 06, 2024 (afternoon).

Deferral, repayment

In the event of duly justified absence, a candidate may request :
- postponement to a later session of the current year
or
- a refund
All requests must be made in writing (by e-mail certifications.accents@univ-smb.fr) and accompanied by supporting documents within 2 weeks of the test.
A €20 administration fee will be deducted in the event of a refund.
Cancellation by the examination center :
Accents reserves the right to cancel a session if fewer than 3 candidates are registered. You will be notified at least 2 weeks before the exam date and will receive a full refund.
