Students enrolled at a partner university and nominated by their home institution (Erasmus code: FCHAMBER01) can apply for the IBTM semester.

 All courses and activities are taught in English.

 Yes, a B2 level in English is recommended to fully benefit from the program.

 Having some basic French skills can enhance your daily experience and interactions, but French is not required to follow the program.

Yes! Students from selected partner universities can apply for the double degree option, which includes a professional internship and a research-based thesis.

Our international office assists with accommodation, integration activities, administrative procedures, and everyday life in Chambéry. In particular, our team helps you find housing. As an indication, expect an average rent of about €450 to €500 per month for a single studio. Depending on your resources and the rent amount, you may be eligible for French housing subsidies (CAF-APL), which can reduce your rent by approximately €240 per month.

 Applications must be submitted between mid-October and mid-November for a spring semester start (January).

The semester is tuition-free for exchange students from partner universities. However, living costs (housing, meals, insurance, personal expenses) are the responsibility of the student. Some small additional costs may arise for specific academic activities (e.g., field trips, professional events) depending on the modules chosen.

You will need to submit your nomination, academic transcript, proof of English proficiency, and motivation letter.
