Individualization

Individualized career paths

In order to support each student's project, which evolves over the course of the curriculum, it is necessary to offer a modular academics . The USMB is committed to a policy of individualizing the student's pathway, based on learning units of 6 European credits each. The bachelor's degree is thus made up of 30 learning units of three types:

  • Fundamental learning units at the heart of academics .
  • Individualized learning units that enable students to modify the skills they want to acquire, or to follow the evolution of their career path.
  • Modular learning units to color academics in language, culture, sport or to acquire the skills needed for university work and professional integration.

Route simulator

The university is working on the first version of a guided search function for its academics catalog. The catalog will enable users to search for training courses by location, academics or key words, and will also display a decision support module based on the user's profile.

This version will be enriched according to user feedback, and will evolve into a real career simulator, where students can modulate their Learning Units according to their personal desires, skills and professional expectations.
