Pedagogical transformation

The competency-based approach is a central aspect of the @spire project's pedagogical transformation. The aim of this approach is to make the academics offerings more coherent, and to highlight the links between disciplinary knowledge through teamwork.


The Approach By Competence

The concept of competency is becoming increasingly important in universities, but the term can cover a range of different realities. Are skills in higher education of the same nature as those in secondary education? Or are they labels used only in the workplace, leaving knowledge to the side of the road? The answer to both questions is "no".

The USMB has a clear definition of this concept, supported by pedagogical research. This enables us to organize our training courses more efficiently.

The competency-based approach is an approach that enables teaching teams to organize the academics offer in a coherent and collegial manner. Thanks to the pedagogical support provided, the license teams have planned their transformation.
