COMING BY CAR

From Lyon (1 hour): take the A43 towards Geneva, Grenoble, Chambéry. Take the exit towards E70 – TURIN-MILAN, GRENOBLE, ALBERTVILLE, CHAMBÉRY airport, follow direction N201 Bourget-du-Lac, Aix-les-Bains, Savoie Technolac, follow the signs Bourget-du-Lac / Savoie Technolac.

From Grenoble (30 mn): take the A41 towards TURIN-MILAN, CHAMBÉRY, SAINT-MARTIN-D’HÈRES. After the toll, follow the signs for Aix-les-Bains / Le Bourget-du-Lac / Savoie Technolac.

From Annecy (30 minutes): take the A43 towards Chambéry / Lyon.

Exit at Chambéry airport / Albertville / Grenoble, then after the toll, follow the direction N201 Bourget-du-Lac, Aix-les-Bains, Savoie Technolac. Follow the indications Bourget-du-Lac / Savoie Technolac.

COMING BY PLANE 

The site is near two airports, Lyon (France) and Geneva (Swiss). These 2 airports are served by public transport, bus and train.

GENEVA AIRPORT

Geneva airport is connected to the « Genève-Cornavin » railway station and the bus station by a regular train and bus service. There are several connections per day to Chambéry.

We suggest that non-European students landing in Switzerland find out about the formalities required by the Swiss Authorities.

LYON  AIRPORT

Few trains stop at the airport station, however the Tram-Express (www.rhonexpress.fr) connects the airport directly to the Lyon Part-Dieu station from where you can take a bus or train (frequent departures) to Chambéry.

Another possibility: take a direct shuttle to Chambéry  with www.altibus.com.

COMING FROM PARIS

The city of  Chambéry is very well connected to Paris by TGV. You can either take a train from the airport « Roissy / Charles de Gaulle » (mandatory change at Lyon Part-Dieu station). Or you can go to the Gare de Lyon in downtown Paris and take a direct train to  Chambery.

Few trains stop at the airport station, however the Tram-Express (http://rhônexpress) connects the airport directly to the city centre. You can then take buses or trains from Perrache and Part-Dieu stations, with frequent departures to Chambéry.

Alternatively, you can take a direct shuttle to Chambéry  with www.altibus.com (for Chambéry 23€ adult/17.50€ for under 25 years old).
