The Law Research Centre Antoine Favre is the research center University Savoie Mont Blanc law school which is located in Chambéry. For some years, the Research center membership and activities have greatly increased. It currently has nearly fifty members, including about twenty Phd students. Its main activities may be classified into three major transversal legal fields :The Research Center is involved in national and European research programs and networks. It now aims at developing its international cooperations. It has linguistic skills (especially in English and Italian) and is willing to welcome visiting professors or foreign researchers/scholars specialized in the center’s fields of competence.

LAMA is made up of three teams doing research focused on mathematics, applied mathematics and mathematics and computer sciences. Our common denominator is the quality of the basic research, on the one hand, as well as a concern for its applications. These applications are in other sciences (geophysics, physics, biology, mechanics and computer sciences) or in other mathematical fields (geometry applied to control theory, discrete geometry) or in the field of teaching.

From the basic study on electrolytes to the modeling of an operating generator, the LEPMI teams (including the LMOPS, the Chambery team at Université Savoie Mont Blanc) are aiming to increase knowledge in all fields involving the transport of charged species. The LEPMI is a member of the Labex CEMAM, the Institut Carnot (future energies) and the Plastipolis, Tenerrdis, Minalogic and Axelera competitiveness clusters

The LLSETI research group was formed in 2003 following a merger between four existing research structures. As an interdisciplinary group, it brings together over 60 tenured researchers and more than 30 doctoral students working in literature (French, comparative and foreign), language science, foreign language studies, foreign history and politics, art, French history, sociology, philosophy and information and communication technology (15 separate university disciplines in total).
