Any person with a disability is eligible for accommodations.

This applies to candidates who, at the time of the exams, have a disability as defined in Article L114 of the Social Action and Families Code:
“A disability is defined as any limitation of activity or restriction on participation in society experienced by a person in their environment due to a substantial, lasting, or permanent impairment of one or more physical, sensory, mental, cognitive, or psychological functions, a multiple disability, or a disabling health condition.”

Here are the steps to follow (available as a PDF here):

  • Check the box labeled “Do you have a disability?” on the registration form.
  • Make an appointment with a doctor (or medical authority) to obtain the
medical certificate (available here) that details the recommended accommodations.
  • Send it as soon as possible, and no later than the last day of registration, by email to certifications.accents@univ-smb.fr.

The testing center reviews the medical certificate, evaluates the recommended accommodations
(with assistance from France Éducation International if necessary), and confirms
the candidate’s registration and the scheduling of the exams.

Please note: If you are blind, you must submit your request at least 2 months before the exam session in order to
receive the exam materials in Braille.

If you do not provide a medical certificate, you will not be eligible for accommodations or an exemption.
