Degree obtained: Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication
Degree obtained: Master's Degree in Management and Industrial Development
Position: HSE Consultant Auditor
I chose this program because I was interested in careers in quality and logistics, particularly industrial development.
The professors are renowned, committed, and fair. The university environment is excellent and the classes are small. There is no sense of competition among students, but rather a spirit of mutual support. The subjects taught are good and prepare you for the professional world, with contributions from external speakers.
The program helped me acquire the skills, know-how, and interpersonal skills that are essential in the workplace. MDI also taught me how to make judgments in an industrial environment and provided me with concrete answers, enabling me to successfully enter the world of work.
Today, I work as an HSE consultant auditor in a large auditing company. I contact my clients, schedule appointments, take care of the logistical details, travel to the site, carry out the inspection, and then send a report to management.
Degree obtained: Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management – Finance track
The richness of the economics and finance bachelor's degree lies in its wide range of subjects, which enable students to acquire solid knowledge in economics, management control, and management.
This bachelor's degree allows students to gain independence while building their career plans in a pleasant, human-scale environment. The end-of-study internship is a real bonus, allowing you to put your skills to good use in a company. It also enabled me to continue at IAE Savoie Mont Blanc with a Master's degree in Economic and Statistical Research. I am currently a Marketing and Innovation Research Officer at Haute-Savoie Habitat.
Qualification obtained: Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management – Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management (THE)
I chose IAE Savoie Mont Blanc right from the start of my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management with the aim of joining the THE program specializing in events. Thanks to its university lecturers and professional contributors, the THE degree strikes the perfect balance between theory and practice. The professional experience gained through volunteer work and the end-of-study internship allows you to get a foot in the door of the events industry and develop a taste for it! The THE bachelor's degree allowed me to find the career that suits me.
Today, I am the project manager for the 2021 IAE French Cup, before finishing the MIE Master's degree in Event Management and Engineering, which is also offered by IAE Savoie Mont Blanc.
Degree obtained: Master's degree in Export Zone Management (formerly Master's degree in International Business Development)
I chose IAE Chambéry to develop my critical thinking skills, gain a global perspective on business, and benefit from a multicultural and international environment. The diversity of the teaching staff provides us with the theoretical knowledge we need to understand the international market and a concrete view of the field. Thanks to the Business Club, I have developed professional contacts and completed formative internships. I am now an export area manager and have completed a VIE (international volunteer program) in Germany. I implement business development strategies that I apply in the field.
Qualification obtained: Master's Degree in Purchasing and Logistics
I joined IAE Savoie Mont-Blanc as an undergraduate (Bachelor's in Business and International Trade) and went on to complete a Master's in Purchasing and Logistics. During my bachelor's degree, I appreciated being able to learn about the challenges faced by a company in all its functions (financial analysis, human resources management, purchasing, supply chain, etc.), accompanied by teacher-researchers and professionals in the field who had a genuine desire to pass on their skills to students. This program also had the advantage of training us to work in an international context, both by raising our awareness of the challenges of working in a multicultural environment and by offering foreign language courses in various fields. During this bachelor's degree, I discovered purchasing and decided to continue with a master's degree in Purchasing and Logistics at the IAE. This work-study master's degree allowed me to acquire the knowledge necessary for the role of buyer (or logistics specialist), both in terms of technical skills and interpersonal skills. The program, taught in both French and English, enabled me to understand the strategic challenges of the role and to tackle concrete issues through role-playing exercises, such as negotiation and team management techniques. In addition, the work-study program I completed at EDF allowed me to enter the job market without any problems. Today, I work in Paris at the headquarters of Vinci Construction France's Housing Division as a Clos et Couvert buyer, in a stimulating and technical environment. One of the main advantages of this program is that it provides a broad overview of the logistics and purchasing professions and offers a work-study rhythm that companies appreciate. The combination of these two elements ensures good preparation for the field and a solid knowledge of the profession.
