Diploma obtained: Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communication
Diploma obtained: Master of Management and Industrial Development
Profession: HSE consultant auditor
I chose this academics program because I was interested in careers in quality and logistics, and more specifically in industrial development.
The professors are renowned, committed and fair. The university environment is excellent and the classes small. There's no sense of competition between students, but rather of mutual support. The subjects taught are good and professionalizing, with the involvement of external facilitators.
The academics program helped me acquire the skills, know-how and interpersonal skills that are essential in the corporate world. MDI also taught me the notion of judgement in an industrial environment, as well as providing me with concrete answers, which enabled me to make a solid entry into the world of work.
Today, I work as an HSE auditor consultant for a large control company. I contact my clients, plan the appointment, take care of the logistical details, travel to the site, carry out the inspection, then send a report to the hierarchy.
Diploma obtained: L3 Economics and Management - Finance specialization
The richness of the economics and finance degree lies in the wide range of subjects on offer, enabling students to acquire a solid grounding in economics, management control and management.
This degree enables students to gain autonomy while building their career plans in a pleasant, human-scale environment. The end-of-study internship is a real plus for putting your skills to good use in a company. It also enabled me to continue my studies at IAE Savoie Mont Blanc in the Economic and Statistical Studies Master's program. I'm currently Marketing and Innovation Research Manager at Haute-Savoie Habitat.
Diploma obtained: L3 Economics and Management - Tourism, Hospitality and Events course (THE)
I chose the IAE Savoie Mont Blanc as early as Licence 1 Economie Gestion, with the aim of joining the THE specialization in event management. Thanks to its university lecturers and professional contributors, the THE degree strikes the perfect balance between theory and practice. The professional experience gained through the volunteer work on offer and the end-of-study internship will give you a real foot in the door of the events world, and help you get a taste for it! The Licence THE enabled me to find the job that suits me.
Today, I'm project manager for the IAE 2021 French Cup, before finishing the Master MIE - Management and Engineering of Events - also offered by IAE Savoie Mont Blanc.
Diploma obtained: Master in Export Zone Management (formerly Master in International Business Development)
I chose IAE Chambéry to develop my critical thinking skills, gain a global vision of business and benefit from a multicultural and international environment. The variety of teaching staff gives us the theoretical knowledge we need to grasp the international market, as well as a concrete view of the field. Thanks to the Club des Entreprises, I've been able to develop professional contacts and take part in formative internships. Today, I'm an export zone manager and I did a VIE in Germany. I set up business development strategies that I apply in the field.
Diploma obtained: Master of Purchasing and Logistics
I joined the IAE Savoie Mont-Blanc as a Bachelor (L3 Business and International Trade) and went on to do a Master's degree in Purchasing and Logistics. During my undergraduate studies, I appreciated the fact that I was able to acquire knowledge of the challenges facing a company in all its functions (financial analysis, human resources management, purchasing, supply chain, etc.), accompanied by lecturers and professionals in the field with a real desire to pass on their skills to the students. This academics program also had the added advantage of training us to work in an international context, both by raising our awareness of the challenges of working in a multicultural context, and by offering courses in foreign languages in various fields. During this degree, I discovered Purchasing, and decided to pursue a Master's degree in Purchasing and Logistics at the IAE. This work-study Master's program enabled me to acquire the knowledge necessary for the role of buyer (or logistician), in terms of both know-how and interpersonal skills. The academics, taught sometimes in French and sometimes in English, enabled me to grasp the strategic challenges of the job, and to tackle real-life issues through real-life situations, such as negotiation techniques and team management. In addition, the work-study I did at EDF enabled me to enter the job market without any problems. Today, I work at Vinci Construction France's Habitat Division head office in Paris as a Clos et Couvert buyer, in a stimulating and technical environment. One of the main advantages of this academics program is that it gives me a broad insight into the logistics and purchasing professions, and a work-study pattern that companies really like. The combination of these two elements ensures a sound grounding in the field and a solid knowledge of the profession.
