Pierre, Yunus-Emre, Alexis, Burhan, Alice, Armond, Capucine

Tired of seeing cigarette butts everywhere? So are we! Our project: to make the campus cleaner and inform people about the harmful effects of cigarette butts on the environment. Thanks to our partner Cy-Clope and the setting up of collection points in strategic locations around the USMB, the collected cigarette butts will then be recycled to produce insulation and building bricks.

"We don't inherit the earth from our ancestors, but we borrow it from our children": it was with this vision in mind that we contributed to the CSR approach of Amazon's Seynod warehouse. We had one ambition: to combine e-commerce and the environment, and three objectives: to improve the efficiency of the building, optimize deliveries by electric vehicle and raise employee awareness of sustainable development. At the end of the project, we realized that every improvement, no matter how small, is a real hope for the future. "Alone we go faster, together we go further." !

"The Frip'Fashion project aims to change consumption patterns, and in particular the excessive consumption of clothing: fast-fashion. The Frip'Fashion project was born of a passion for second-hand clothes and a fight for sustainable development. It enables everyone to get involved in a more responsible fashion, and to help us raise funds for the "Arc-en-Ciel" association. So you too can "Collect, Renovate, Resell" and, thanks to our solidarity thrift shop, give up fast-fashion and opt for second-hand!

This year, our "Forum" event couldn't take place at the IAE, due to the covid crisis... So we came up with a digital Forum: "Green For'Homme - There's no Planet B". Our videos were a powerful and entertaining way of illustrating the many questions we asked ourselves: How can we live differently in Chambéry? How can we feed ourselves tomorrow? What if your car pollutes more than you imagine? How can we consume locally and fairly in the future? What is the hidden face of fast-fashion and its alternatives?

Wondering what it means for modern consumers to 'consume local'? We've got the answer! We chose to work on consumer expectations in France, Brazil and Sweden. We also looked at developments linked to the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the role of labels, which can sometimes be misleading!

When it comes to ecological transition, cities in the Nordic countries are the stuff of dreams, aren't they? Soft and alternative mobility, healthy and local food, renewable energies and buildings that produce more energy than they consume... What about in our regions? And what if the Chambéry conurbation were also at the forefront of the transition? Because today there are alternative ways to consume while taking care of the planet, we invite you to learn a little more in our video!

Do you have any idea of the ecological footprint of your plate? How much does agriculture contribute to the ecological footprint of France, Brazil and Sweden? Agriculture and livestock farming contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation. To reduce our ecological footprint, we can not only eat organic produce, but also consume local, seasonal produce, and reduce our meat consumption.

Julia, Léna, Yoan, Lise and Jane

What is the real impact of trade in the textile sector? And what are the alternatives? To understand the impact of fast-fashion, we've chosen to retrace the journey of a T-shirt across the planet. Is slow-fashion an alternative? We took a close look at several brands, such as Zara, Asphalte and Natural Peak, which offer more responsible alternatives.
