Visale device
(formerly Clé – Lokaviz Student Rental Deposit)
Following an update to the Clé (Caution Locative Étudiante) scheme set up by Crous – Lokaviz, the latter has been replaced by the Visale aid from Action Logement. This is not housing insurance, which is compulsory for all housing in France and for which it is advisable torequest a quote based on your needs and the characteristics of your accommodation.
As for Visale, the purpose of this assistance is to provide a free guarantee. This assistance will act as a guarantor for the future tenant when putting together the rental file required for the tenant's acceptance and the inventory of fixtures. To supplement this free assistance available to young students, Action Logement has developed other support mechanisms such as Mobili-Jeune and Loca-Pass, which can be combined with Visale as well as traditional CAF assistance (APL, ALS, etc.). Please note that once these steps have been completed, don't forget to open your various utility accounts (electricity, natural gas, and water) so that you are not caught off guard when you arrive at your new home.
Successful university studies require a welcoming environment and working conditions that are conducive to personal development and the achievement of professional goals. To this end, the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) is setting up a Student and Campus Life Service (SVEC) whose mission will be to support students in their integration into university life and to energize student life on campus.
Comprising a manager, three campus coordinators, and a cultural projects manager, the Student and Campus Life Department helps USMB students find the right contacts at the university and in the city surrounding their place of study, and find information about their daily student life (housing, student jobs, transportation, dining, etc.). It also supports student associations by assisting with various student projects (civic, cultural, sports, events, etc.) and helping students with administrative procedures related to associations (certification procedures, FSDIE funding applications, event organization, etc.).
Present on each of the three campuses, the SVEC listens to students' concerns about their university life and invites them to get involved in developing student life.
These initiatives constitute a program of collective actions undertaken by students in the service of student and community life, IAE communications, and community or regional projects.
Under the guidance of the project leader, a group of IAE students is responsible for implementation.
These initiatives take the form of projects to be carried out from start to finish.
