Research at IAE Savoie Mont Blanc

IAE Savoie Mont Blanc's teacher-researchers are mainly attached to the IREGE laboratory, and enhance the value of their teaching through high-level research work.

  • Environment, Sustainable Consumption, Tourism (ECDT)
  • Innovation and Organization Development (IDO)

IREGE researchers are pursuing their activities around four main missions:

  • Produce scientific knowledge,
  • Promote their expertise, particularly in the socio-economic world,
  • Leading the academic community,
  • Research training through research.

The teaching and research staff at IAE Savoie Mont Blanc also come from other laboratories: the Computer Science, Systems, Information and Knowledge Processing Laboratory(LISTIC), the Systems and Materials for Mecatronics Laboratory(SYMME), the Languages, Literature, Societies, Cross-border and International Studies Laboratory(LLSETI), etc.

Doing a PhD at IAE

The doctorate in management or economics, which lasts three years after the national Master's degree, is the 3rd cycle of higher education. Registration must be approved by the USMB doctoral school. It requires proof of an excellent academic level (including a research dissertation) and support from an IREGE research supervisor, who will help the candidate obtain funding for the duration of the dissertation (3 years).
