Fit' pilates

This Fit'Pilates class is a 45-minute cardio mix with classic LIA (Low Impact Aerobics) or step fitness, as well as Fit'Dance alternating with introductions to Zumba or Shuffle Dance. We're also exploring other decades, sometimes incorporating disco, funk or more contemporary choreography (such as the Jerusalema Challenge). There will also be Tabata sessions and traditional circuit training. The sessions are varied, but all require good cardio and enable the body to work as a whole. The second part of the session is dedicated to Pilates (named after its inventor, Joseph Pilates), essentially based on floor work and focusing on in-depth strengthening of the abdominal-lumbar belt as well as the gluteal muscles and a little on the upper body. We mainly use body weight, and sometimes work with fitness elastics, Swiss Ball or Medicine Ball. The session generally ends with 10min of relaxation or stretching using active global stretching exercises. This Fit'Pilates session is the perfect way to work on cardio, muscle strengthening and flexibility, in a warm or relaxed musical atmosphere.
