Would you like to take advantage of university sports facilities without necessarily signing up for a course?
Self-practice is for you! Join the 1500 registered practitioners!
As USMB students and staff, you have access to certain facilities at the Bourget du Lac ( bat 1 ) and Jacob ( bat 16 ) gymnasiums, as well as to the Annecy IUT weight room.
Slots are available during lunch breaks, evenings and sometimes even afternoons, until the last week of May. We haven't forgotten about you at the weekend either: you can have access to the facilities on Saturday mornings!
Depending on the time slot, you'll be able to do strength training, muscle toning and cardio in the weight rooms. Each weight room is equipped with TVs on which you can access "content videos" giving you ideas for exercises to perform.
You can also play badminton, volleyball or basketball in the various sports halls.
Don't hesitate to ask the sport relay students who are there to ensure that your physical exercise goes smoothly by answering your questions, ensuring that the rules are respected and that the equipment is used correctly.
Annecy campus: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15pm to 1:15pm, and Fridays from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
For Annecy, no registration for the moment, but presentation of your student card will be required for access to the IUT weight room.
Free for students / €30 per year for USMB staff
Access is possible only on presentation of your student card to the security guard at the entrance to the gymnasium.
Access to self-practice is outside teaching hours and sports fixtures. We lend you equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks ....
REMINDER: The FUTSAL is FORBIDDEN on independent practice slots
Please take note of the rules to access the practices in autonomy:
Annecy: maximum 12 people in the room at any one time
IMPORTANT :
We remind you that a clean pair of shoes (for indoor use only), presented to the hall wardens at the entrance and put on after the changing rooms, is compulsory for access to the gyms, as is your student card.
Priority is given to supervised courses, as well as to university
on alternate Wednesdays.
