Tennis

Game, set and match

A sport offered on the Annecy and Jacob campuses, tennis is a racket sport that pits two players against each other on a court separated by a net.

 

Semester teaching cycle
Compulsory weekly attendance (in academics whether or not assessed)
Course duration: 1h30
12 sessions per semester

Each student brings his/her own racket
Recommended attire: tennis shoes, shorts, T-shirt.
All levels accepted

*Motor skill(s):
- Master the techniques needed to vary tactical choices:
-be able to use the opponent's space (spatial uncertainty)
-be able to control the speed of your shots (temporal uncertainty)
-be able to vary and mask the type and quantity of effects (event uncertainty)

*Methodological skill(s) :
- Improve self-awareness (acceptance of victory/defeat, self-knowledge)

*Social skill(s):
- Improve relationships with others (respect, recognition of characteristics in play).

Evaluate the player in a game situation, in a balanced balance of power.
Takes into account level of play and match winnings.
Observe technical and tactical implementation.
