Staff mobility

Did you know? Erasmus+ mobility is not just for students! At the IAE, teaching, administrative and technical staff, as well as doctoral students under contract, have the opportunity to go on an academics or teaching mobility program in a partner establishment in Europe.

This experience enables students to enrich their professional skills while discovering new working methods and developing a better understanding of educational practices on a European scale. It also contributes to strengthening IAE's international outlook and encouraging student mobility.

Beyond the professional benefits, this opportunity is also an excellent way toimprove your language skills and enjoy an enriching experience on a personal level.

  • academics mobility(Erasmus+ STT: Staff Training mobility): This involves taking part in an academics, internship or observation activity within a company or higher education institution (including structured courses, linguistic academics , participation in a staff week, etc.).
  • Teaching mobility(Erasmus+ STA: Staff mobility for Teaching Assignment): This involves teaching a minimum of 8 hours of courses integrated into the curriculum of the partner institution. This mobility can be in any academic branch or discipline.
  • Combined academics mobility(Erasmus+ STA/STT): This involves teaching at least 4 hours of courses integrated into the partner institution's curriculum, and training the rest of the time. This mobility can take place in any academic branch or discipline.

Please note: conferences are not eligible for staff mobility.

Teaching mobility - STA :

At a European partner university with which the USMB/IAE has signed an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement. No teaching mobility can take place without the prior signature of an Erasmus agreement.

Mobility from academics - STT :

  • In a higher education institution, whether or not it holds the Erasmus+ Charter.
  • In a company as part of professional development activities: academics or observation assignment
  • In a language center to improve your level.

NB: Unlike academics mobility, it is not necessary to have an inter-institutional Erasmus agreement to carry out an academics mobility.

Mobility can last from 2 days to 2 months. At present, the funding granted by the USMB for the stay is a maximum of 4 days on site + 1 day of travel compensation. In addition, a green mobility package may be granted for the use of an eco-responsible means of transport.

NB: The duration of funding is adjusted annually according to the number of applications and the available budget. Find out more about funding on the USMB website.
