Trail

Don't think about limits

Trail running is an endurance activity combining the choice of trajectory for movement and effort management.

This activity reconciles the development of physical and technical capacities through running, with a reflective and management approach (nutrition, intensity, observation of the natural environment, choice of itineraries) as part of the logic of rapid and regular progress during the effort.

12 lessons of 2 hours each

All courses take place in the great outdoors, with no specific structures.

You'll need a pair of sneakers suitable for trail-type progress, a supply of water, a food ration, a cell phone and a headlamp for night-time use.

- Develop physical capacities (cardiovascular).
- Develop technical skills linked to the progression of the center of gravity.
- acquire the knowledge needed to manage nutrition
- Establish race strategies according to profile

All students who are eligible for Trail validation at the end of the semester are assessed on 2 courses: a single-slope trail with a technical descent, and a sawtooth trail with a variation in pace. The scale is distributed as follows:
Performance: time according to regional level opener percentage
- Skill: relationship between road speed and speed achieved
- Technical ability: adaptation to varied terrain
- Commitment to the course, the student's overall attitude to learning
