The building and civil engineering sector is undergoing a digital revolution thanks to BIM (Building Information Modeling), which is totally transforming the act of building. Mandatory for certain projects (public procurement contracts), BIM is a set of processes and working methods used throughout the design, construction and use of a building via a 3D digital model.
The benefits for companies are immediate:
- Efficiency gains thanks to intelligent assisted design (templates, task automation)
- Improved coordination through a shared data environment
- Optimized control of quality, risks, costs and deadlines.
