Isidore

Isidore is a platform and search engine for searching and accessing digital and digitized research data in the human and social sciences (SHS), developed by the Huma-Num infrastructure.

Isidore harvests metadata (according to three open metadata interoperability standards: OAI-PMH, RSS and atom, RDFa) and indexes digital data by enriching resources (records) with scientific reference terms. The site takes the form of a website, a mobile web interface, modules dedicated to the WordPress content management system, a programming interface and a Sparql node for querying resources in RDF.

The engine is one of the platforms involved in today's drive to open up scientific data. Enrichments are produced in three languages (French, English and Spanish), thanks to the semantic alignments between the repositories used by the platform.
