The Business and Administration Management program aims to train future managers who are proficient in management techniques (accounting, management control, finance and cash flow, management information systems, taxation, human resources, marketing) and capable of adapting to changes in the legal, technological, economic, and social environment and applying these changes to their professions.
At BUT GEA at the Annecy University Institute of Technology, we combine theory and practice in each of our courses with learning and assessment situations (SAÉ) such as creating and taking over organizations, participating in public speaking competitions, preparing for TOEIC and other exams, and even running business games.

Professionalism:

A generalist program where students are exposed to all areas of management. It is this versatility that allows students to enter the workforce directly or subsequently enroll in prestigious business schools or continue their studies abroad.

International:
Students are prepared for the TOEIC in BUT 2. They can then complete their fifth semester (BUT 3) abroad.

INITIAL TRAINING
The BUT GEA program includes 600 hours of supervised projects and 22 to 26 weeks of internships over the course of three years of study. This corresponds to nine months of training in a professional context.

The BUT GEA is a three-year degree program that prepares students for management and leadership roles in the field of management.
After completing a first year together, students choose a course of study that they will follow in BUT 2 and BUT 3.
We offer our students comprehensive training by opening up the four initial training courses from the second year onwards and work-study programs from the third year onwards.

Preparation for the DSCG allows students to gradually acquire specialized skills in a wide range of areas: business law, administrative and accounting management, business organization and management, finance, management information systems, auditing, taxation, management control, etc.
Targeted occupations
Responsible for a portfolio of clients in an accounting firm, Chief Financial Officer, Financial Controller, Management Controller, Auditor, etc.

Preparation for the DSCG
At the IUT in Chambéry (DSCG1 for UE2, 4, 6, and 7)

Admission
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG) or any other diploma equivalent to the DCG. The program is accessible through a professional training contract, an apprenticeship contract, continuing education, or a professional training period.
Option to enroll in elective course units (individually or a combination of DSCG1 and DSCG2, for example, for employees in continuing education).
