THE ACADEMICS INITIAL
The BUT Techniques de Commercialisation program at academics includes 600 hours of tutored projects and 22 to 26 weeks of internships over the 3 years of study (or 4 years for ski-study students). This corresponds to 9 months of academics in a professional context.

Who is it for?
- Holders of the Baccalauréat
- Sport-Study Sections are aimed at top-level athletes (minimum pre-national level) who hold a Baccalauréat and are affiliated to sports federations.
The BUT can be obtained in 4 years instead of the usual 3.
The first year of BUT provides general courses for all students, before offering a specialization in the second year.

Business development and customer relationship management course dedicated to the mountain industry (BUT TC Montagne)
- An interest in life in the mountains, its advantages and disadvantages
- Students attend classes in November, May, June, late August and mid-September (around 17 weeks per academic year), and spend the rest of the time in the company.
- Requires work-study placements in companies whose business is related to tourism, commerce, communication or any other activity in the resort or nearby environment. These companies must be interested in a work-study schedule based on a seasonal rhythm (alternating between winter and summer).

academics timetabled to take account of the sporting season: academics over 4 years, organized courses from October to March (20% of academics), and classroom courses from April to early July.
This program is reserved for FFS and FFME athletes only. Applications open from the end of January to the end of May, by downloading the application form from the Annecy IUT website. Selection is based on an assessment of athletic and academic levels, in partnership with the FFS.

From the second year onwards, academics students can choose from two main courses: BDMRC (Business and Customer Relationship Management) or MDEE (Digital Marketing, E-business and Entrepreneurship). In their third year, students are required to follow a work-study program.
Specialization in BDMRC classic, digital, sport, agri-food and banking & insurance takes place in the third year.

The BUT BDMRC Agro-alimentaire has been designed in response to the needs of companies in the sector.
