Amnesia is a data anonymization tool that removes identifying information from data.

Amnesia transforms relational and transactional data into anonymized datasets where formal guarantees of confidentiality are respected. In addition, Amnesia enables the user to guide the anonymization process by visualizing candidate solutions, and allowing him to choose and customize the one that suits him best.

It not only removes direct identifiers such as names, social security numbers, etc., but also transforms secondary identifiers such as date of birth and zip code so that individuals cannot be identified in the data, by linking them to other sources of information.
